Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see you, I want to see you

To see you high and lifted up
Shining in the light of your glory
Pour out your power and love

As we sing holy, holy, holy

VERSE (x2)

REFRAIN

BRIDGE (x2)
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
I want to see you

How Great Is Our God

VERSE 1
The splendor of a King, clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice, all the Earth rejoice
He wraps himself in light, and darkness tries to hide
And trembles at his voice, trembles at his voice

REFRAIN
How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

VERSE 2
Age to age He stands, and time is in his hands
Beginning and the end, beginning and the end
The Godhead Three in One: Father, Spirit, Son
The Lion and the Lamb, the Lion and the Lamb

REFRAIN

BRIDGE (x2)
Name above all names, worthy of our praise
My heart will sing how great is our God

REFRAIN

CHORUS
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee
How great thou art, how great thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee
How great thou art, how great thou art

REFRAIN (x2)

Offering

Thanks to your generous gifts this month, Peace Tree was able to partner with Capleville UMC and St. Marks’ UMC to provide 125 turkeys to local families through the Capleville Community Food Pantry. If you’d like to be part of the distribution this upcoming Tuesday, please contact us in the church office: office@peacetree.church or call 901-286-5532.

You can make a one-time gift to the church or set up a recurring donation by visiting peacetreeumc.org/give. Use the online form and check out the links to our 2020 stewardship campaign: All You Can, and learn more about our planned building renovations on our UPLIFT page.

Bible Reading (Psalm 136:1-3, 23-26)

O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever.

O give thanks to the God of gods,
for his steadfast love endures forever.

O give thanks to the Lord of lords,
    for his steadfast love endures forever;

It is he who remembered us in our low estate,
    for his steadfast love endures forever;

and rescued us from our foes,
    for his steadfast love endures forever;

who gives food to all flesh,
for his steadfast love endures forever.

O give thanks to the God of heaven,
for his steadfast love endures forever.

Message

“Give Thanks” Rev. Kristofer Roof (kris@peacetree.church)

Jesus Paid It All

VERSE 1
I hear the savior say,
“Thy strength indeed is small
Child of weakness, watch and pray
Find in me thine all in all”

REFRAIN
Jesus paid it all, all to him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow

VERSE 2
Lord, now indeed I find
Thy power and thine alone
Came and changed the leper’s spots
And melt the heart of stone

REFRAIN

VERSE 3
And when before the throne

I stand in him complete
Jesus died my soul to save
My lips shall still repeat

REFRAIN

BRIDGE (x4)
O praise the One who paid my debt
And raised this life up from the dead

REFRAIN

TAG
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow
He washed it white as snow

Go In Peace

Stop by the South Entrance to pick up a Peace Tree t-shirt as our gift to you. Feel free to also pick up several Manna Bags to store in your car and hand out to those you see in need. Drive safely and stay healthy! See you on December 19 at 5:00 for our drive-in Carols & Candlelight service.
