Peace Tree Roots

Calling all middle and high schoolers! The Roots are looking for their newest members to join their youth group in fun and fellowship. They meet every Wednesday night during the school year, where they share a meal, play games, and grow in their faith. Throughout the school year and over the summer, the Roots get together outside of the church building to live by our motto: "Church can happen anywhere."

One of the most consistent needs of the Roots is meals. We work with the congregation to provide or sponsor meals, while the Roots help with the operations of our Sunday services. This helps us introduce our youth to the community surrounding them, and helps the church body see what our young people are involved in. If you are interested in providing a meal, reach out to Kayla to learn more.

Looking for a quick and easy way to help? Check out our Amazon Wishlist to see some of our recurring needs. These items help reduce our spending on material needs and allow us to push the money that would otherwise be spent on supplies, back into youth events and missions.

Want to give financially to the Roots? We have an envelope fundraiser on display in the North Lobby. You can select an envelope and put in the corresponding amount. Once every envelope has been filled, $5,050 will have been raised for our youth group. $1,500 of those funds will be dedicated to support our Mountain T.O.P. missions teams. The rest of the funds help pay for meals, events, and supplies for our young people.

Our most recent fundraiser is a sticker fundraiser! The Roots are selling Peace Tree decals that are perfect for cars, water bottles, and so much more! The stickers are available in blue and green, and are $5 each. If you would like to purchase one (or a few!) check out the Roots table in the North Lobby on Sunday mornings, or reach out to Corinne.
